Yesterday, NYBri announced the winner of our logo contest, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
During the contest, we received nearly 1000 votes and we are incredibly appreciative of everyone's interest and support. Thank you.
For those who missed it, here is the winning design and tag line:
From the day we announced this campaign for the US Senate from Nebraska, we have wanted to include everyone, because this isn't just my campaign, it's your campaign for Nebraska's Brand of Change. And the logo contest was just step one in that process.
I am inviting everyone to come to our Web Site and read about your campaign.
However, we have a challenge coming upon us quickly. The Democratic Primary in Nebraska is on May 13th. That's just six weeks away.
Voters need to hear much more about our campaign. They need to know that we’ve united ranchers and environmentalists, young people and seniors, and Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.
They need to know that there’s a candidate in this race who knows how hard it is to raise a family on a tight budget. They need to know that newspapers across Nebraska endorsed us during our historic 2006 congressional run.
In short, we need to raise the resources to get our message out to the Democratic voters in Nebraska. That's where this diary comes in.
Yesterday, we launched a fund raising drive with the modest goal of raising $25,000 by this Monday at midnight...and people have responded. We have raised over $11,000 in the last 36 hours, but we haven't reached our goal... So, please help us heat up our brand with a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more so we can call our drive a success.
Help us win your campaign for Nebraska's Brand of Change.
Thanks,
Scott
