According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Hillary Clinton is a "big fan of the Rolling Stones." So am I.
But in light of Ms. Clinton's assertion that she would have quit Trinity Church because of sermons Jeremiah Wright gave, it's fair to ask whether Clinton still wants to declare herself a Mick Jagger fan in light of his having sung the following:
I hear the click-clack of your feet on the stairs
I know you're no scare-eyed honey.
There'll be a feast if you just come upstairs
But it's no hanging matter
It's no capital crime
I can see that you're fifteen years old
No I don't want your I.D.
I can see you're so far from home
But it's no hanging matter
It's no capital crime
Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat
Oh yeah, don'tcha scratch like that
Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat
Bet your mama don't know you scream like that
I bet your mother don't know you can spit like that.
In his performance on November 29, 1969 in Madison Square Garden, and as documented on the Stones classic live album, "Get Your Ya Ya's Out" Jagger modified the lyrics to say, "I can see that you're just THIRTEEN years old . . . ."
These is a controversial topic: Grown men having sex with thirteen year-olds. Which is what Jagger sings about. And sings about in a lustful, leering manner.
So what is it? Is Senator Clinton going to stand firm with pedophile's crooner? Or is she going to denounce and despise, or disapprove and disconnect or renounce and revile? Whatever. Put some distance between herself and the aging crooner for pedophilia?
Time to throw Mick under the bus?
And just for the heck of it, the man Senator Clinton respects so much for his "work ethic" also sang the following:
White girls theyre pretty funny
Sometimes they drive me mad
Black girls just wanna get fucked all night
I just dont have that much jam
What if Reverend Wright had said something like that?
Will the white working class of Appalachia still vote for her when they know that she's a fan of "Sympathy for the Devi"?
