This will be the shortest diary I've ever done. Just click this link http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
look at the photo and then just read the article, if you will, originally from the San Francisco Chronicle, by Matier and Ross.* Won't take long, I'll wait.
Finished?
In my view, and you may differ, that is the face of a bully. Of someone caught in the act of intimidating, something Bill is known for. For a long time I've believed that the party leaders and/or superdelegates are being intimidated, by Bill and Hillary. And that this is a disgrace. I've suggested as much in a couple of my diaries. Here, in this shortest of the lot, I want to say that someone needs to do something about this couple, and straight away.
Someone---Dean, Pelosi, Brazile, Biden, et al---needs to tell Bill and Hillary, in words that cannot possibly be misunderstood, that they are not in charge.
I am livid because of how they are behaving and because they are getting away with it. Running amok. It isn't for Bill and Hillary to decide how long this contest goes on, how it is to be conducted, whether the Michigan and Florida delegates should be seated or not. Someone needs to tell them that there are more people in the party than just Bill and Hill, and that the party is sick and tired of being jerked around by a pair of schoolyard bullies with a sense of entitlement.
That no one is standing up to them, makes us look weak. I've said it before: how can a party that can't handle one couple, govern the nation? That is what voters will be asking themselves. Independents and crossovers will be laughing---in disgust--- at our party for its inability to sort this couple out, they will turn away in droves.
Is the San Francisco Chronical blowing this incident out of proportion? How? Doesn't the angry red face and the jabbing finger, in the photo, combined with many other things reported in the past several weeks, say it all? What needs to happen is for someone like Howard Dean to show this couple into a room, shut the door, turn around and with hands on hips say, "Who the hell do you two think you are?"
Today, Howard Dean, do it today. Lest we be remembered as the party that, in 2008, was hijacked by Bill and Hillary Clinton and flown to the land of defeat.
