This weekend I played softball at the national law school softball tournament. My team was awful, but I played hard and well. More then that I wanted to play harder because I was on a team. So I am starting Team Kos and you are invited.
More after the flip.
The usual caveat applies: I am not a personal trainer or a nutritionist, just someone who likes to exercise and has some advice to give.
I highly recommend if you are joining to also get an online training log like Running World's to keep track of your accomplishments.
But to be a member just post how you exercised last week and/or your training goals for this week.
We are in campaign season. It is time to move into general election mode for most of us. And that means shifting from voter registration to name identity raising. We have to get the word out about our candidates and the route we want the country to go.
I am suggesting that you combine your exercising with your political work by wearing progressive clothes while your exercising.
I want pictures of you training in Dailykos, Democratic, congressional candidate and general liberal garb.
I love going for runs with my congressional candidates shirt and having people look at me. Sometimes they'll ask me about my shirt and I can talk about politics. I even got one person to volunteer for my candidate after meeting them at the gym!
For the record I was 2 for 3 in the softball game. With a run and a strike out.
