I'm writing this piece primarily to draw people's attention to my last two posts.
Site glitches blocked me from the recent diaries list on Wednesday so I opened my Thursday diary in the morning trying to redirect people to it. The good stuff, photos, video and our last work site visit didn't go up until later.
So here are the links to my coverage of our three-day adventure across Pennsylvania, and a few reflections on the trip:
Day One: Scranton and Allentown
Day two: Peppermint Patty Plant Moving to Mexico
Day three: Pittsburgh, wrap up and video
Now, as I sit in the Pittsburgh airport awaiting my flight back to Washington National (I still can't bring myself to call it Reagan), I have some time to reflect on our convoy:
* Big trucks, small-town intersections, bad combination.
* Teamsters can eat a breakfast three times a day.
* Take every opportunity to eat and go to the bathroom, it may be your last.
* Truckers
can get lost.
* GPS - greatest invention since cell phone.
* Blogging in a moving passenger van is not bad, until you come to a sharp exit ramp.
* Four hours in a vehicle without an FM radio is too long.
* No matter where you are, you always have a brother or sister in a Teamster.
Well, I'm eastbound and down. See you back in D.C.
