You know, so much happens in an election cycle, that you forget crap like this. I don't know how I managed to forget.

Now I understand in part of this speech, she was reading a poem, but please...
I understand that both Hillary and Obama in more relaxed modes have sounded like 'speechy' and clean when talking to people, but stuff like this is so blatantly phony and over the top... I wonder when election season came around in say, Texas, if people actually remembered it, and I wonder why Obama didn't make use of it. This soundclip needs a bit of resuscitation within the media as part of the overall message of why we simply don't trust Hillary, and how it fits in with the gun talk and the faith talk, the shots and the beer.
I think she thinks her southern roots, what she has of them, are enough to justify talking this way, but as Obama says, simply, "come on now. she knows better". Would it be cool for any politician to speak with a lisp at a gay rights rally? Of course not. would you go to a foreign country and try and talk in their accent? no. it would be offensive to me to even go to Canada and throw in repetitive 'ehs', talk about hosers, back bacon and say 'aboot' once or twice. Was it stupid when Romney wanted to play up the rap slogans at an event, the clearly out of touch and dated Who Let the Dogs Out references? damn right. and its stupid when stuff like this happens.
Why can't Hillary just be herself?
Because there is no real Hillary Clinton.
She is, and has always been, a political chameleon, a potential Zell Miller should it be at her convenience.
