I am definitely going to volunteer in Eastern PA this weekend for Obama, but I need help deciding where I'll do the most good, among three places:
- Philly (I'd go wherever the main office told me to go)
- Doylestown
- Allentown
(To others considering volunteering: this is NOT to say those are the only places worth volunteering! They're just the places that I know how to get to.)
I know that if I call those specific local HQs, they'll just say "yes, come here!" So I'm posting here to get more neutral input.
I'm aware of some of the obvious factors, e.g., Philly of course has way more voters.
But that alone is of course not the only thing to consider; winning districts is also important. Are Doylestown and Allentown more "swing" than Philly?
Help me out! Thanks a lot.
(Sorry this is a shorter entry than the diary rules encourage!)
