As some may recall, on April 4th, I posted a short diary with a poll concerning comments made by two Clinton surrogates/allies, Corzine and my governor, O'Malley, that weekend. Both men stated that they, as superdelegates, would vote for the winner of the "popular vote" as the nominee. My poll queried: (1) are these men trying to hint to Clinton that their support for her is limited, or (2) are they laying the groundwork for some type of bad math "popular vote" argument.
Even at that late date, the majority of you responded that the reality had to be scenario one as the popular vote argument was just too ridiculous to be taken seriously. Well, HRC's "I'm winning the popular vote" assertion of today demonstrates that logic and reason have absolutely no bearing on her campaign tactics (as if that was in doubt after the last six weeks). Unfortunately, the MSM have also proven that they are incapable of critical reasoning as well.
From here on out, always assume the worse from the Clintons. They must be forced out of the race because they will never go voluntarily. I was almost fooled by Hillary's closing statements during the Texas debate. We cannot assume that they care an iota about the democrats winning in November because they do not. They only care about the Clintons winning in November.
I realize that this diary sounds like the rantings of a lunatic. But I had to write it anyway because I can't believe the manner in which the Clintons have hijacked this campaign.
