As a Pennsylvania resident, I can say with confidence that Obama lost Pennsylvania because a lot of Democrats really like and admire Hillary Clinton.
In fact, although I voted for Obama, I think Hillary is an excellent candidate. At times, I even think she might be a stronger candidate in November and would make a better president than Obama.
I strongly considered voting for Hillary up until I pushed the button. In the end, I voted for Obama in the hopes that he would pull off an upset and end the primary season.
But there's no mystery or conspiracy to why Obama lost on Tuesday.
Although way too many people seem to have lost sight of it, there's a lot to like and a lot to admire about Hillary Clinton.
Has the Democratic primary gotten a little nasty at times? Yes. Welcome to politics.
It's just bad timing that the Democrats have two really good candidates in 2008 after having none in 2004.
