Let’s get serious for a moment. Jeremiah Wright has nothing to do with our future as a nation. He has nothing to do with the life of my son.
Hillary Clinton’s professed intentions to provide a protective umbrella that will respond to any acts of aggression in the Middle East needs to be addressed instead. Personally, the potential for my son to be drafted is one of the most important issue of the campaign. We MUST do something to get the question asked.
Maybe an email, sent to every media outlet?
Dear __________,
If the United States enters into a military stance of protecting the entire Middle East, where will the soldiers come from?
Doesn’t it seem that a selective service draft would most likely be necessary?
Please ask Senator Clinton how she plans to enlist the military personnel that would be needed to provide the protective umbrella.
Thank you.
My top three real issues that the traditional media should be talking about instead of trying to distract us, after the break.
In my humble opinion, Barack Obama should make a list of real issues, and hammer them home. He should face the traditional media’s obsession with Jeremiah Wright-level distractions as a disease, and he should provide the cure.
- We need to stop focusing on trivial associations and tabloid topics. We must start spending our time fixing instead of flinging.
- We need to know how our military is going to be deployed, if Hillary Clinton’s retaliation scenarios come true. Will we nuke immediately and sort it out later? Where will the soldiers come from? Will she institute a draft?
- We need help with gas prices and home foreclosures.
Barack Obama is a refreshing alternative to the traditional media, and he can talk to us seriously and intelligently. He can change the paradigm, making the dialogue about real progressive change instead of the latest dirt being flung.
He should take his strongest stand yet on these issues and hammer it home. We can help, by asking every media outlet to stop with the distractions and ask the real questions. Especially when it comes to the dimensions of Senator Clinton’s Nuclear Umbrella.
Can we get this campaign to be about the issues and ignore the distractions?
Yes We Can!
