Freddy Nietzsche would be smiling down on Barack Obama, the great hope of this nation.
People need to understand it's not going to be easy and there will be endless challenges for whoever wins the nomination. It's how you respond to adversity, difficulty, and challenges that matters and defines a person's character. No one can expect the established powers that be to accept this African-American first term Senator easily. It will be a struggle. Obama's response today reaffirmed my belief that he is the best equipped person to handle various challenges, and not bend in the wind like so many politicians. He's not perfect that's for sure, but, looking at the differences between how Clinton and Obama have responded to their respective media storms (Wright, Bosnia), it seems clear who will be able to handle future storms best–and there will be many. The right-wing thrives only in the petrie dish of distraction. If the media gave an honest assessment of where we're at as a country Henry Wallace could probably win.
