BREAKING: Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General George Washington has posthumously endorsed Barack Obama. Sticking his choppers in, the General said, "I have lead a revolution. I have seen a people powered revolution. It's time we take our country back. He's the one to do it."
In Other Posthumous News:
The former head of Strategic Air Command, General Curtis LeMay has endorsed Hillary Clinton, saying, he was impressed with her "nuke, nuke, nuke, Iran plan."
On a serious note. In 1968, George Wallace tagged Curtis LeMay as his Vice Presidential running mate. At a news conference, my friend, Jack Nelson, of the LA Times, asked LeMay about using Nuclear weapons in Viet Nam. Lemay replied, Nuclear weapons "were just another weapon... no big deal."(*) A firestorm erupted, plummeting Wallace in the polls.
How things have changed. A legitimate candidate for the presidency can threaten to nuke a country of 65 million back to the Genesis age, and not a sound is made.
A crying shame, if there ever was one.
