Just up at Huffington Post, the Clinton camp confirms their intention to employ (or at least attempt) the "nuclear option":
Clinton's campaign today acknowledged plans to try to win seating of the disputed Michigan and Florida delegations to the Democratic Nation Convention at a meeting of the party's Rules and Bylaws Committee on May 31.
I'll make this short: We must begin working now to make it absolutely clear to all members of the Rules and Bylaws Committee that such a move would be unacceptably costly not just to the Democratic Party but to their own individual political careers.
Clinton loyalists on the Rules Committee would have to be persuaded to put their political futures on the line by defying major party constituencies, especially black leaders backing Barack Obama.
Read the full article -- this is still a relatively remote possibility. But I, for one, would not stand for having Florida or Michigan delegates seated in a way that favors Clinton. It would be an unfair and illegitimate 'crowning' of an unearned 'win' on par with the Supreme Court's gift of the Presidency to George W. Bush.
I'm afraid I don't know who's on the Rules and Bylaws Committee, but if that information is available we should immediately begin to contact them and politely but firmly make sure they know what a flood of outrage such a move would cause.
I haven't seen other diaries on this yet; but I haven't looked very hard, either. If this is a duplicate, lemme know and I'll cut it.
