If you haven't learned the rules of Calvinball you simply have not been paying attention.
We all know that the Michigan Primary was a fraud with only Hillary and Kucinich on the ballot. We also know that if Michigan had followed the rules Obama would have been competitive there and might have even won.
Considering the broken rules the only reasonable split of Michigan delegates would be 50/50.
But not according to Hillary rules.
Under Hillary rules the following things happen, in the name of making 'every vote count':
- Hillary receives credit for every popular vote cast in her name, regardless of the fact that her only opponents were Uncommitted and Kucinich.
- Hillary receives all of the delegates she 'earned' from this primary. Noone else, excepting Kucinich who earned none, is entitled to delegates as they were 'not on the ballot'.
- Uncommitted delegates are not seated, as they might just vote for someone 'not on the ballot' at the National Convention.
- Any evidence that Hillary promised to remove herself from the ballot or any promises by her campaign that any vote in Michigan would not count are promptly disregarded.
- To question these rules is to declare yourself against democracy and the values of the Democratic Party.
Any questions?
