This diary is posted with many thanks to Ninepatch and GN1927, who took time out of their day to post diaries asking for folks to help feed WV Obama volunteers.
I didn't wake up this morning thinking I would help feed about 30 people. :)
There are twelve Obama offices in West Virginia and at least one that isn't on the official list--they meet at a McDonalds. A list of people who contributed to those West Virginia offices is below the fold:

Keyser - these volunteers don't even have an office, they work out of a McDonald's! Their fellow volunteers asked us to show them some love, too.
-paxpdx is making sure they get some good Italian tonight!
It's probably not a complete list, and my apologies if I neglected to mention anyone.
So Ninepatch and I had $40 between the two of us to cover the Wheeling office. I called and found out there were about 15 people working inside the office and 15 walking the streets in downtown Wheeling. We decided it was best to order some pizza, and my local pizza shop got the call. They did a wonderful job in a short amount of time. I hope you don't mind if I give a shout out to Zontini's Pizza in Martins Ferry, OH. Not knowing if the office had supplies, we also picked up paper plates, napkins, and 2 liters of soft drinks.
I took my kids along for the ride.
Richard got to hold 8 boxes of hot pizza on his lap. Yes, he's giving his mama the finger because I'm laughing at 8 boxes of hot pizza on his lap. Don't be offended on my behalf--he's just goofing around. You can't see Justin in the back seat with another 4 boxes of pizza (not giving me the finger).
I-70 offramp from the Fort Henry Bridge into downtown Wheeling-- we saw this! We did not see one sign of any size for Senator Clinton in downtown Wheeling--
We found the office with no problems--
Elisabeth (you can call her Lizzie, or The Bean) carrying her load--
We met volunteers inside. The gentleman named Devon (hope I spelled it right!) I had spoken to earlier was out of the office, doing work for Barack Obama. I told the folks there we were dropping off some food on behalf of members of the Daily Kos website. They were very, very nice and appreciated that we were thinking of them today. I asked to take a few pics of the inside. The main room of the office is rather small and there were about 10 people there. They had mad t-shirts--I should've asked how to get one!
Hungry volunteers:
TJ and Justin dropped off their load--
As I said, it was a rather small office area, so we didn't stay very long. These were busy people and we didn't want to interfere. So I gathered the troops and we headed outside for a few minutes--
Some of the 'boots on the ground'--
The kids stop to have a pic--
Justin (full of near-teenage angst)--
TJ and The Bean--
So these are my pics of our adventure today. My kids were very excited to get involved. We talked quite a bit about an Obama loss in West Virginia and we decided that whether he wins or loses, today was a good day. We got to send our thanks to those volunteers who have been working long hours, even knowing that Barack Obama didn't have a good chance at all of winning West Virginia.
So thanks to Devon, who I didn't actually get to meet, and to Toni and the rest of the gang at the Wheeling campaign HQ. There was not one hint of a defeated attitude in that office. You all did good.
