So it took eight years of Bush II for someone in a relatively high profile position of power to come out and succinctly say, "This is bullshit!" I hope Democrats get comfortable with this kind of combative response to Republican antics because Here We Go!
What's funny to me is that it's too early for the Repubs to do this and get the result they want. The big oohs and aahs could be useful closer to November. Comments like those made yesterday by Bush only serve to "telegraph" the Repubs strategy for the fall. Not that we didn't know already. But OBTUSE just ain't gonna derail Barack Obama. And, man, what a beuatiful tag team response by upper level Dems. Keep it up people.
"This is bullshit!"
That's pretty much going to be the battle cry for the Dem quick response machine as we face up against McCain et all. And it doesn't hurt Obama to have Bush II throw in with McCain. The Bush stain will in no way facilitate a McCain surge in the fall.
It's over because we are prepared as a party and we have a good candidate, a real candidate, someone worth fighting for. There will be alot of powerful, high profile people out there who have Obama's back in a very big way from this moment forward.
What President Bush says as a rule is bullshit. We all know that. But now the powerless feel empowered. The frustrated conscious beings who know the damage Bush has done will not allow his nonsense to stand a moment longer. Not with the New Expanded Democratic Majority and President waiting in the wings.
You see. This thing is over. Because the right people know that Obama is a fighter and a winner. Obama's got blockers.
