Oh my god. Just finished having to hear NPR provide the Bush Administration with a custom made propaganda piece.
Noah Adams was the server of this tripe.
ugh. to the jump
This is hardly a huge deal. Really, I ALMOST couldn't care less.
With the GOP in full meltdown mode, it's not like I'm worried that some ridiculous story on NPR is going to help GW out.
But please. This entire story started off by accepting the premise that this freakin golf "sacrifice" is true. As if it means anything.
"Is there any precedent," asked Noah Adams, as if Bush had restricted himself to standard GI field rations.
As if it were a real sacrifice. As if it were true. Not a freakin WORD about whether there was ANY truth to the story. Not a hint of the storm that has surounded this. grrrrr.
I won't bore you with all the details of the Bush golf thing. If you don't know, you've been living under a rock. We all know that this is crap.
I had to be content with emailing my local affiliate since it is all but impossible to contact NPR directly.
If anyone has a solid email addy, please leave it for me and I'll update with it.
And to think, I only just started giving NPR money again after I dropped my membership in disgust over their pre-war "coverage."
In my defense, they had an amazing story on transgender children that was just amazing. That pulled me back in.
grrrrrr.
