After a long primary season, that is wrapping up, some Clinton supporters cannot admit they have lost. But what really upsets me, is the Clinton supporters who have come to a realization that she won't win, but decide to vote McCain, or do NOTHING about it. As a former Clinton supporter, (obviously a better democrat than Clinton-ite). Let's move on! Stop bickering! But no, here in innocuous (yep) Southern Westchester, frolicking amongst stock-brokers, people are being idiots.
In this election, there are not 3 parties, but 4. Green, Republican, Obama, Clinton. Now, it is time to merge those last two into one "Democrat" party. I have been talking to people, and they will leave Clinton. But here's the catch: They just sit down and bow out. They don't care. At least 60% of the people I have talked to have said this: "I just don't think Barack can win in November." Well, instead of griping about it, get moving! Hand out fliers! Talk to friends! Don't complain!
Twiddling around on 270towin.com, I came up with several scenarios in which Barack can win.
- Win Missouri, Michigan and Nevada (with Minnesota). A difficult proposition to say the least, but achievable.
- Win New Hampshire, Michigan, and Indiana. Even more difficult.
- Win Montana, Indiana, and Ohio. (lose Michigan).
Now all these scenarios come with winning Maryland, Wisconsin and PA. So, all the people who are sitting back, need to help, now.
Thanks.
