...and we're back!! The polls are open in Kentucky and soon Oregonians will have their chance to drop off their ballots. It's becoming increasingly clear I'm not stopping these diaries until June 3rd (to be continued in November). So, it's time for our friends down South and up in the Northwest to tell us about their stories of Democracy: how is the turnout? Lines? Signs? Any unusual incidents? Emotions? We love to hear about your voting experience! Where and when did you vote? And, if you don't mind, whom did you vote for?
NOTE: For all you Oregonians who voted early, still use this thread and tell us about when you filled out your form (not sure if there's early voting in Kentucky, but same applies to you if there is).
Last, but not least, please recommend this diary so that readers throughout the day (especially those waking up later in Oregon) will have their own opportunity to share and/or read these great, great stories of democracy. Let's hear it!
