She's lost the most states.
She's lost the popular vote.
Yes she did. You can only say she won it if you are a liar.
She's lost the pledged delegate race.
She is trailing in the Superdelegate race.
She has no argument on electability, since all polls show Obama actually being as competitive against McCain as her, if not more so.
In fact, yes, Obama does better against McCain in the general than Clinton does.
She can't use Reverend Wright or Bill Ayers to sway the Supers, as Obama has survived those bumps in the road.
She can't use the argument that Obama is not winning white voters, since well, he is.
She can't argue that he cannot win women voters, since, well, he is.
She can't argue that he cannot raise enough money to win, since it is in fact her campaign drowning in debt while his is awash in cash.
The only argument she has left is as follows:
He's black.
Her argument is that Americans will not vote for a black man.
Her insistence in remaining in the race, and as evidenced by her speech tonight, is much more than believing that she is the best candidate for the job. For you can believe that you would be a better President in your heart, but at the same time you can look at the math and the results of all the primaries and realize that Democratic voters disagree. No, the only reason Hillary is so insistent on destroying all she is supposed to cherish is because either she is a narcissist, or she truly believes that America is overwhelmingly racist and will not accept a black man as President.
Now, this is not to say that Hillary Clinton and most of her supporters are racist, but it is to say that they all believe America is, and that a black man cannot win because and only because he is black.
That is the only argument she has left for remaining in the race.
I just wish she and her supporters would be honest about it for once.
