First, congratulations to Senator Barack Obama and his family for an amazing fight. Before all of America Obama has proved himself to be the candidate capable of leading America in the 21st Century. That said congratulations also go out to Senator Hillary Clinton for helping make this the most exciting primary of my lifetime. As tenacious an opponent as she was though she was no match for the historical groundswell of support organized by the Obama team. That doesn't make her any less of a badass.
This is a winning formula for the Democrats to have two heavy hitting candidates duke it out for the entire primary season effectively stealing all the thunder from the Republicans. Which party has generated the interest and which has provided the superior candidates each with a historical first in the offing? Not the Republicans that's for sure. No, the Democrats have made this the primary season that will go down in history. Somebody, please take note for future fights. It's the primary version of the Rumble in the Jungle. As much as the Republicans wish they could generate as much interest in their candidate they're stuck with McLame, Bush, Hagee, Cheney and the lobbyist. Presidential nominee Barack Obama is going to make it painfully clear just how out of touch Republicans are when he routs them out during the general election.
Now it is time for Senator Hillary Clinton and her supporters to defend Barack Obama. She needs to rally her supporters (the so called "white-working class") to defend the nominee. There is no time to lose. Hillary Clinton needs to concede the nomination by June 3rd or 4th. There is plenty of work to be done to battle the Republicans for the White House. We don't need any spoilers. To the superdelegates, "Please, recognize the ability of Obama's campaign to develop the coalition that is uniquely capable of bringing this country back to a place of respectability in the world." This is a revolutionary movement in America.
