Honestly, I don't know what to say about this. To even allude to an assassination as justification for staying in the race is ghoulish beyond belief. Granted, the source is the New York Post, but the story seems authoritative. More below the break:

"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said, dismissing calls to drop out
I really don't have anything to add to this. To even mention that as a possibility, and as a justification for staying in the race, just seems beyond any bounds of decency.
