During McClellan's comprehensove media book tour I've been hearing a lot of the obvious questions from the media, even from my fave Keith Olbermann.
But we all want to know more... because we know there are even more questions to ask about the inner workings of this White House.
So here are my questions for Scott McClellan - Reps. Wexler and Conyers please take note!
- What can you tell me about the Administration's use of e-mail, and why did so many WH political operatives have RNC e-mail accounts?
- Were you privy to any discussions regarding the strategic use of e-mail by Administration officials? Were there any supporting documents issued by Administration staff about this?
- Did you ever arrange to give any of the White House Press Corps information you believed to be war propaganda in the run-up to the Iraq War, or during the War and occupation itself? Did it result in favorable coverage?
- Did you save any relevant White House or GOP e-mail communications relating to the Valerie Plame case, the "selling" of the Iraq War, domestic spying, the use of torture, the U.S. Attorneys scandal, or other key issues?
- Can you tell us at all about your interaction with other Administration cabinet officials and their departments?
- Considering you are accusing the Administration of ginning up a cause for war, how much message coordination took place between the Administration and the then GOP majority in both houses of Congress?
- To what extent did the Administration pressure directly the large media companies that own news organizations to play up or create positive stories about the war effort?
- As an Administration insider charged with delivering a focused message and keeping the press focused on the story of the day - was there any one story or fact you worried about getting leaked to a press source which could place the White House in legal jeopardy?
That's all I got for now.
Anyone else want to add their queries for Scotty should he come under the klieg lights of Congressional investigation(s)?
