Dearest Hillarions swarming to the site and demanding royal treatment while your candidate's attack dogs are still chomping: get over yourselves. Obama did not "steal" anything from you. Hillary lost in a contest whose rules were the same ones by which Bill Clinton won.
If you supported Hillary, presumably you did so because of her positions and policies. If you supported her for any other reason, you are idiots, and belong naturally to the McCain brigade of coat hangers and Constitutional toilet paper.
If you supported Hillary's policies, you support Obama's policies well before you support McCain's. It's not about us. It's not about how some anonymous bloggers out there properly kiss your ass or not (and if it is, how sad for you).
I am a policy voter. I supported Edwards. He lost fair and square. I was crushed. But after much clothes-rending and teeth-gnashing, I got over it, and then I supported Obama. I didn't command Obama supporters to apologize for every jerkoff thing someone somewhere on the intertubes said. I didn't blame Obama for his most obnoxious followers. I didn't even demand that Obama supporters "convince" me, or bring me my coffee and newspaper in the morning.
I can read. I have an internet connection. I can visit a website. I have CSPAN. I can watch speeches all by myself. I can discern policy all by myself. That is my job, as a citizen.
It's your job too, Hillary-supporters.
Fairly soon, if she has any class or loyalty to the party at all (and I think she has both), Hillary will endorse Obama, and ask you to campaign for and vote for him. She will ask you to do everything possible to keep the White House out of GOP hands in come November. Whether you respect that or not is up to you. Whether you respect Hillary's true causes or not, is up to you.
But your trying to make this about Obama supporters--especially those on the internet--is self-indulgent, whiny, disingenuous, and more than a little pathetic. This is about the nation, about the Constitution, it's about your daughters, it's about the planet.
Listen to Obama's speeches. Read his policies. Read his positions. Read the dirt on him. Then read the rebuttals to the dirt on him.
Then do the same with McCain.
If Obama's policies are the ones you'd rather see, then welcome aboard, and all is forgiven and forgotten. If not, Redstate is calling. We won't miss you.
