I had hoped against hope when I first heard about this nut case, but then the truth rears it's ugly head one more time.
From this afternoon's Syracuse Post Standard:
Tompkins County Super delegate supports Clinton
This person was profiled in the Syracuse Sunday Post Standard a couple of weeks ago, making much noise about "how she was still making up her mind", blah, blah, blah.
Tompkins County is home to Ithaca (my birthplace), Cornell, Ithaca College, and some of the nicest, most liberal folks you'd ever want to meet.
They were one of the only upstate counties to go Obama's way during the primary. But that's not good enough for Irene.
Regardless of anything any of us continues to think, hope for, quantify, wish for, dream for, etc., remember this -
HRC will indeed go all the way to the convention for this nomination. Bank it.
My 12 year old said to me this morning - "so is Obama the candidate now dad?" I replied "No son." He said, "when will he be?" To which I replied "when the Convention is over in August, and only if he can survive all the things the Clintons will do between now and then to take it away".
Watch them.
