This, honestly, should be bigger than Rev. Wright and Hagee wrapped into one hot potato. It proves that Team McCain is INCAPABLE of Vetting their friends... and openly opines about the inclusion, in a cabinet post, of an individual who doesn't Think the US Should have or should now recognize Israel as a state.
John McCain has in the past, as seen in the video, supported as a potential Sec of Defense, on Mr. Fred Smith, CEO of Fed Ex (good rate on sending bullets and bombs to Iran?)...
The problem is Fred Smith openly, and on more than one occassion, sympathized with George Marshall's opposition to Recognizing Israel...
Per Ben Smith
"In retrospect, there would be a large body of thought thta would have said that Marshall was correct in what would precipitate from that recognition, which is now sixty-some-odd years of war," he says, going on to say that McCain reminds him of Marshall.
This is one that should not get lost in the shuffle of the day's news. File this one away for future use. I think McCain will soon lose all credibility on the issue of Israel. First Hagee, now this guy... What's next?
Does John McCain believe too that the 60 years of War wasn't worth the trouble?
