Per the Newark Star-Ledger:
Gov. Jon Corzine today threw his support to Sen. Barack Obama, saying he "absolutely" will fight for the Democrats' nominee as he challenges Sen. John McCain for the White House.
"We're all going to get behind Barack and go full-throttle," he said in an interview televised by MSNBC.
"It's not a walk in the park -- that's why we ought to make sure we're defining the issues" separating Obama and McCain, like the Iraq war, health care and the economy, Corzine said on MSNBC. But he added, "I like my side of the aisle in this race."
So that's 1 for Obama today...there are still over 100 SDs left needing to declare today or tomorrow.
My bet is that most will wait until Clinton's concession speech and then endorse en masse. But there could surely be another flood today. I for one am looking forward to the unified show of support for our nominee!
Instead of trying to keep track of what may be 30-50 SD endorsements today, perhaps we can use this as an open thread...I can do my best to track each endorsement but I can't hold a candle to StevenR or some other lightning-quick Kossacks.
