What possible chance does John McCain have of actually winning in November?
Especially when the world is watching and listening to Barack Obama so intently.
Ya know, when John McCain spent months as the GOP presumptive nominee, he should have been preparing for this. Even if the opponent would have been Hillary Clinton, he would have been hard-pressed to get much attention. IMHO, he just seems too boring.
The most telling sign of reaching "Rock Star" status is when something as simple and common as giving someone a pound makes international news. Or when attempting to connect with PA residents, bowling. Though most never report that the 37 score included a kid bowling 2 frames for him and that the game ended in the 7th frame)...as if it mattered that much. Or when the Obama family is at a McDonald's and the cameras are rolling even as they order their food.
How can John McCain win? How can he compete with a movement of involvement from all corners of the world ? How can John explain away all the gaffes that he is making when he only gets limited coverage? It boggles the mind to see the Republicans scramble to edify their nominee, whilst having to publicly proclaim distancing from Bush. How can he try to hide voting along with the current Prez a whopping 95% of the time? It's a tough assignment.
It's simple. John McCain can win if we don't unify as Democrats and VOTE on the policy issues that define the candidates.
and that my friends(in my John McCain voice)..is a reality that I don't want to experience.
