It's all screwed up!!!
McCain ties among the young
18-34 McCain 48% Obama 48%
Obama wins among 65 and over 48% to 39%
McCain wins 35-49 by 11% and Obama wins 50-64 by 12%
POBLANO (Nate) please downgrade SUSA not because of poor Obama showing in this poll but because they (SUSA) should know that these cross tabs are just crazy.
Overall Obama 45% to McCain 44%
This apparently is SUSA first of more polls covering that area (Great Lakes region)

Update 60% of respondents are under age 50 and only 40% are over age 50. That is screwed up as well. Are there any other MN polls out there that show that MN is different than any other state. That young vote in numbers and that old stay at home and that the young vote for old and vice versa?
SUSA says "SurveyUSA moves to a likely voter model in its Presidential and Vice Presidential matchups"
Is this the likely model???? Old for Obama young for McCain.
I'm not concerned for Obama in MN. I live in Iowa (Similar to MN but more conservative) and I know out here it's all Obama. So MN should be even more as it is latte liberal compared to Iowa but I am now angry at SUSA for clearly messing up the cross tabs, likely turnout model etc.
UPDATE NC CIVITAS polls McCain only up by 4% on Obama but sample has only 18% AA vote. In 2004 AA was 26% of voters and they are 22% of population.
