...in the year 2030. "According to the Energy Information Administration that is the first year new drilling would have an impact on prices," says an article in the TBT. That is some very uplifting news. By that time we might be BEGGING for $4 a gallon. That is also 22 years away. So lets assume that McCain does get elected (God no) and this does happen (no way), he would need to live to the age of 93 to say his plan made an impact on gas prices.
Our Governor, good old fake tan Charlie boy is obviously on his knees kissing McCain's you know what for the VP spot. His chances of re-election aren't looking too good and the only reason I can think of that he wouldn't care about his re-election is the VP spot. You don't need to be Governor if you are going to be in the White House.
Sadly the Republicans are playing the sympathy card on voters who won't know this information. All they will hear is "I want to lower your gas prices." Hell yeah who doesn't want that? And sadly many Americans won't live to see the day.
They won't live to see the day when we are all saying "Wow this off-shore drilling could bring us back down to $4 a gallon."
Ah the good old days when gas was $4 a gallon.
How I wish it was only $4.
THANK GOD in 2030 we will FINALLY have some relief. It will be well worth the wait.
Only 22 more years guys. Just hang in there.
