Non-Farm Payroll #'s-The 'Net-Net' Lie
The June Non-Farm payroll Numbers are out and... the (month in and out) lie that is 'Net-Net' continues to be perpetrated by the Department of Labor with the willing collusion of the MSM.
It IS MUCH worse than - 62,000. Try on - 155,000+ 'real' (family wage) jobs.
"THEY TOOK OUR JOBS !!"
The 'truth' (f their own numbers are to be believed) is that the Department of Labor numbers for Non-Farm Payrolls is MUCH MUCH worse than MINUS 62,000 jobs lost in June.
The number is 'net-net'. Losses + Additions. What is 'lost' in the reporting of just the 'net-net' number is the difference between the quality and earnings of the jobs lost and the jobs added.
For the 'rest of the story' go to the Dept of Labor's website, and look at Table B-1.
Here's the (South park) Cliff Note version; "THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!!".
'Real' Job Losses:
- 43,000 Construction * - 33,000 Manufacturing * - 69,600 Professional & Business Services * - 9,000 Travel, Transportation, Utilities =
- 154,600 Total 'REAL' Jobs (living wages) lost in June
'Netted' against the addition of (mostly service sector) jobs:
Name Tag & Hair Net Job Additions:
+ 24,000 Hotel & Food Services.........................................
and, for those "were all about small government " re-thug chest thumpers:
+ 29,000 Government........................................................
The next question that comes to mind is: 'How many of those new hair net and name tag jobs are 2nd (or 3rd) jobs for the folks that have lost 'real' jobs over the course of the Winter/Spring?"
