This will be short and not arfully linked. My apologies.
I thought it might be important to alert one and all to the fact that in 2003 Congress Passed the Partial Birth Abortion Act: http://www.whitehouse.gov/...
Might also be important to inform one and all that in 2007, the Supremes upheld the Partial Birth Abortion Act in a frightening decision, Gonzalez v Cahart, 2007: http://www.aclusandiego.org/...
While many are bemoaning Obmama's statements about mental distress and late term abortions, the fact is that due to the Partial Birth Abortion Act and Gonzalez v Cahart late term abortions are banned and there is no exceptios not even for the mother's health.
Dare I repeat the above? NO EXCEPTIONS ARE PROVIDED NOT EVEN FOR THE MOTHER'S HEALTH.
Forget her distress..her ilfe could be in danger and she CANNOT have an abortion.
So while other's discuss DEAL BREAKERS and get Very Upset, three is a federal law upheld by the Supremes..THE ALL NEW, ALL RIGHT Supremes..that held that it's fine with them because they are trying to protect women from nasty regrets after having a late term abortion.
In a section of the opinion that has drawn a bit of commentary, Justice Kennedy asserted that the abortion ban may be justified in part based on the government's interest in protecting women from the regret and emotional consequences they may suffer from their abortion decision.

Because facts matter. Misinformed diaries, not so much.
