I'd like to share a letter I received from my friend Mary Kim Titla. Mary Kim is running strong for Congress in Arizona’s 1st congressional district. She would be the first Native American woman ever to serve in the U.S. Congress. She has a great message and will make a wonderful Congresswoman. Please help her if you can.
Hi Alex, I need your help to push me over the finish line. I'm almost out of gas, literally. I've been averaging 4,000 miles a month traveling in Congressional District 1 and I need gas money! In the next two months I expect to double or even triple my mileage. Your $20 contribution will buy a half a tank of gas. I know money is tight for everyone which is why $20 is all I'm asking for. Can you send $20 in the next 20 hours? Our goal is to encourage 1000 people to send $20. We can do it with your help!
My campaign is grabbing national and local attention. I was interviewed by an Associated Press reporter about making history (becoming the first Native American woman elected to U.S. House of Representatives) and I’ve been on local TV. You can read or watch the interviews by going to my website at http://www.gomarykim.com.
What else can you do to help?
- Ask others to match your contribution
- Help us reach voters by volunteering or contact friends/family in Congressional District 1 and ask them to lend their support by volunteering, posting a yard sign, etc. (See map under Voter Information on my website)
It's going to be intense the next two months. I can win but not by myself. It will take some sacrifice from my supporters.
Can I count on you? If so, don’t ignore this email, act today! You can give online or print a form and send a check. Remember, together we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support,
--
