Amazing at this late date in Bush's administration that you still, on occasion, see Bush '04 bumper/window stickers on cars. Do you ever see these? I saw a little "W 04" window decal on the back window of a pickup truck on my way to work this morning. Are you like me? -- I can't help but drive alongside such a vehicle and take a quick peak at the driver. Of course it's always a white male - draw your own conclusions.
I also am tempted, though not as much, to check out the drivers of vehicles with "Support Our Troops" ribbons on the rear bumper. Of course, that's not as blatant as an all out support of a sitting president who's party's current presidential candidate is uncomfortable being seen with in public. It's all about POV - Point of View - in life. From such a driver's Point of View they are doing the noble thing? Well, I can only guess.
If my car broke down and I couldn't contact AAA and I no choice but to accept the offer of such a person, I would be mortified to even be the passenger. Other drivers might naturally assume I was a similar minded person. More embarrassing - being in such a vehicle or walking down the street without pants on?? If given the choice, I'd rather go for an outing in front of all my neighbors sans pants.
The bumper sticker I'm about to describe: I haven't seen one in more than a few years(I think my personal sightings go back to around 2005 or so), but on more than one occasion, I saw stickers that read "I Support President Bush and His Efforts to Win the Iraq War." Denial is bliss?
As long as such folks are in denial, how about:
"I Support OJ In His Hunt For The Real Killer"
"I Support Tom Cruise In His Efforts To Convince Us He's Hetereosexual"
"I Think Fox News Is Fair And Balanced"
