Reading all these blogs, a common thread is that McCain lies, flip flops, twists the truth, etc. I am not sure that that really makes a difference.
Why? Most of us who spend time on these blogs know we will never vote for him. But as long as there is not immediate correction and rejection of his lies, particularly on the networks, then most people who watch it will think that is the truth.
Perfect example was this morning about Obama not wanting to visit wounded troops in Germany. Basically if I was deciding who to vote for, I would have taken from this morning that Obama really did not bother to visit the troops and had better things to do. This is not only what I heard from McCain but appears to be supported by those asking the questions (why ask these questions if they were not true?) and by those talking heads that are very much limited to right wing commentators.
So the bottom line is that this misinformation from the networks will continue and certainly could influence those people who still believe that the networks actually provide any authentic information to vote for McCain-there was very little this morning to suggest that they should vote for Obama.
