As this angry fool continues multiple attempts at instigating our anger, does it make sense for us to respond to him, or should we just stay silent and let him continue to explode with rage. Sure, he refuses to answer questions about past statements made - instead, trying to hide behind the mask of honorable duty. I imagine he has done some pretty lousy things in his long and storied career -- some he hopes we will never find out about, and some he will probably share with us simply because he thinks he is better than the rest of us - a "Maverick" if you will - and that we can learn lessons from his vast "experience."
Now potential mental health issues aside (I mean seriously, he could be deranged judging from his inability to control himself), should we continuously let him spout off and get away with it?
When is it time to stop taking the high road?
When is it time to show how tough we are and hit him square in the thin-skinned jaw. Fight back so he knows that we as Americans and progressives are serious about changing discourse?
I don't know, I just think that sometimes this crazy fool needs to be called out so that the world can see exactly what we oppose...as Americans.
I know that maybe this diary is a little all over the place, but I felt that it needed to be said.
I am tired tonight and would appreciate any thoughts or opinions or comments.
I am tired of this guy and cannot wait to vote for Obama in '08.
I think Obama can kick this guys ass.
Update: I know it is only a few votes, but wow, I am impressed with you folks. I thought for sure that there would be more calls for hitting back.
