Amidst all of the crazy-ass manufactured outrage by the McCain campaign and the right-wing media about Obama's non-visit to Ramstein was yet another example of McCain's seething temper.
In Landstuhl, Germany, when I went through, I visited the hospital. But the important thing is that, if I had been told by the Pentagon that I couldn’t visit those troops, and I was there and wanted to be there, I guarantee you, there would have been a seismic event. And so, I believe he had the opportunity to go without the media. And I’ll let the facts speak for themselves.
Let's think about that for a minute. A SEISMIC EVENT. That's a pretty strong suggestion by a man who is all too well known for his temper.
Wasn't it just four years ago that a fiery Democratic presidential candidate was criticized as insane for letting out a misplaced ARRRGGGGHHHH in Iowa? Of course, Dr. Dean wasn't angry, he was fired up. And the audio we all heard was the direct feed--the noise in the room totally covered up the "Dean Scream." But, no, to the media, Howie was a crazy man who couldn't be trusted with his finger on the button.
Now we've got a GOP nominee with a long history of temper tantrums (not to mention the C-bomb he dropped on his own wife) who threatens a SEISMIC EVENT over what is longstanding Pentagon policy. While the MSM has, to its credit, actually pounced on McCain's dishonest attack on Obama, I've not heard even the tiniest mention of his threat of a blowup. Isn't McNasty too angry, too raw, too unpredictable to have HIS finger on the button?
