I just saw this post at TPM. I think its a pretty good response. Take a look:

I really love this response.
I know some might complain that it should have been released much sooner - that would be the Chicken Littlers - but I think this effort should please even them. It really puts McCain on the spot because it does the exact opposite of what his attack ads do. McCain spends 20 seconds trashing Obama but then only says "Country First" at the end - no discussion of ideas, policy, anything at all that informs the viewer of how he contrasts with Obama. In sharp contrast: Obama starts out by mentioning McCain's ad, reminds the viewer that its the same old politics (translate: BUSSSSSSHHHHH) then immediately pivots to what he intends to DO about high gas prices. Its an excellent way to show the differences between the candidates and it reminds everybody that we need a change in the way things are done in Washington. Barack articulates his message and takes a jab at McCain without ever wallowing into the gutter politics of Bush/Rove/McSame as it ever was.
Obama FTW. And that's something even the Chicken Littlers can dance to.
That's all I've got to say. As soon as the ad is released to Youtube I'll embed the video.
UPDATE: I just realized that TPM got the story from Johnathan Martin's blog entry on Politico. Also, check out the hilarious independent vid featured in JedReport's diary called "The Commander in Chief Test" - because we all could use some comic relief.
UPDATE II: AxmxZ just posted a diary about the RNC's latest attack ad focused on dissing Barack's Berlin speech. You have to see it, its indescribable.
