This will be short. I'm at work and just received this campaign e-mail (as many of you did, I'm sure).

Here's the e-mail:

About an hour ago, I recorded a short video message on my laptop to thank you for your recent support.
I want to make sure you know how much of an impact you've made over the past two weeks, and exactly how you've strengthened this campaign.
You can watch the video here:

Thanks for everything you have done, and for your continued support,
David

Now, the video's the thing. David said there were 200,000 donations over the last week, with 100,000 yesterday alone. One third of those donations came from first-time donors.
I believe in the last quarter, the average donation was $68, so perhaps we can project that the campaign raised $13.6 million last week. I'm not sure I want to project out the entire month--it's likely that this was the best week this month. Either way, the campaign probably raised in the neighborhood of $40 million.

Can't wait to see McSame's numbers.
