This is from one of the HRC memos via the Atlantic. The excerpt is from a much larger strategy memo that outlined the different scenarios for Iowa and New Hampshire. This was sent out on the Eve of the Iowa Caucus.
Here's the Atlantic Link
Seems like Jake Tapper, mini-drudge, is on it.
It looks like, but not definitively, could have still come from another source, that it MAY have been HRC who dropped the Wright tapes on the press.
If I am right, and because the media is disgusting I probably will be, this will be the wedge that the dopey media will use throughout the convention.
This is their little surprise for us, trying to keep the party feud going for the sake of the great ratings crap like this delivers for the cable and radio outlet dopes.
So, the media will try to push us. They will try to take us back to the primaries, because they like the feud.
The question is, what will you do.
Will you allow them to make you angry at other democrats, democrats who ran tough campaigns, the kind of tough that we need if we want to win.
Will you allow the past to rule your present. Will you allow tough political tactics, ones that failed, that have now been weakened and rendered flat and made "yesterday's news", to make you angry and blind to the larger tactic being used against us.
Will you allow daylight between you and other democrats on which you agree on 99% of the issues. Will you let 1% stand between the desperate and healthcare, between war and peace, between justice and the status quo.
Will you give them the power, the power to make you mad at who they want, when they want you to be.
I've tended a lot of Bars, broken up a lot of fights. The angry guy, yelling and frothing, not thinking, was always easy to bounce, easy to control.
The guys who never got mad, but stood their ground, are the ones that you had to worry about.
The media is about to pick a fight with the Democratic Party on the eve on what should be one of our proudest days. Don't let them make you angry, stay cool, stay dangerous.
Unity has become a meaningless Buzzword. This may be because it was never defined well.
Unity is forgiving without being asked to forgive.
Are you prepared to forgive those who don't want it or ask for it? Are you prepared to forgive without needing others to know that you have done so, even the ones who you believe to have done you wrong.
If you are prepared to forgive the trespasses, real or imagined, then unity will be a real and powerful thing.
It's up to you.
