If there was any doubt Joseph Lieberman would be attending the Republican Convention to cheer
on fellow war-monger John McCain, all doubt was put to rest as we learn today that Hadassah has already siged on to an event at the Republican convention.
From Jonathan Martin:
The Connecticut senator's wife, Hadassah, will appear as a special guest at a breast cancer fundraiser being staged by Neiman Marcus and the Republican Jewish Coalition National Women's Committee on the first day of festivities in the Twin Cities.
She would almost certainly not appear at such a function were her husband not taking part in the convention that week.
Asked earlier this month on "Meet the Press" whether he was planning to appear in St. Paul, Lieberman wouldn't say — but he did hint at what he would discuss were he to make the trek.
"I'm not going to go to that convention, the Republican convention, and spend my time attacking Barack Obama," Lieberman said. "I'm going to go there really talking about why I support John McCain and why I hope a lot of other independents and Democrats will do that. And frankly, I'm going to go to a partisan convention and tell them, if I go, why it's so important that we start to act like Americans and not as, as partisan mudslingers here in Washington."

Could Lieberman make history as McCain's VEEP? Funny thing is, Hadassah we learned in 2000 and 2004
was even more right-wing than her husband and so none of this is a surprise. I hope Hadassah feels right at home with all those delegates asking her about her funny name and trying to convert her before Jesus
wipes out every Jew.
Could someone please ask Al Gore about Joe Lieberman and the monster he created.
