With all the hand-wringing about polls and Mccain attacks, I thought about how to "re-frame" McCain's "judgment' argument with an ad. McCain has been successful in focusing the Iraq judgment question on the last two years. It's time to smack him hard on his original judgments about the war in the first place.
My attempt at political advertising, for what it's worth.
Announcer:
John McCain says that the most important criteria for selecting the next President is judgment and that he's made the right judgments for America's safety and security. Really Senator.
JOHN McCAIN video clips:
"We will be greeted as liberators."
"small cost, few American deaths"
OBAMA Voice Over:
I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences.

- More than 30,000 wounded
- More than 4,000 Americans killed
OBAMA Voice Over:
I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.

GRAPHIC:
"stay in Iraq for another 100 years"
OBAMA (on camera):
"I will bring American participation in the war in Iraq to a responsible close by the end of 2010, as the Iraqi government has already requested. We have too much to do here in America to continue spending $10 billion a month in Iraqi. It's time for the judgment to move America forward again.
