Anybody who watched the convention tonight and didn't go away thinking "darn I love this country" is more than likely not to be ever persuaded. The Democrats put on a show of the century tonight from Dennis Kucinich's rousing speech to Bob Casey Jr's clever one liners, it was all around a great hard hitting night by the Democrats.
Hillary Clinton certainly topped the night off with her speech that more than sealed the deal for many of those undecided Clinton supporters out there. Tomorrow is the eve of Barack Obama's big nomination speech and Bill Clinton and Joe Biden will continue to pave the way for the grand finale of this historic convention Thursday night. The media narrative throughout the day was more than nausiating, constantly hearing "will the Democrats unite?" "What will Hillary say in her speech?" I don't think any of these people had anything short of praise by the end of the 2nd night of this convention. I expect the Democrats to get a huge bounce out of this convention between 5-10 points. This convention will be in stark contrast to next week's Republican Convention in MN where we will see more crusty old white men than a galla at the local country club.
