I was looking through the Newsweek (September 1 edition)and checked out writer Jacob Weisberg 's article . Its right on point. Race could possibly doom the Obama candidacy.
Jacob Weisberg is correct in this article http://www.slate.com/... , "What will the neighbors Think ?" . I met with some colleagues yesterday and they expressed the belief that Obama would win ,hands down . I don't see it that way . You have an unpopular president, and an unpopular war and an economic troubles out of hand .
That should be a no contest election , but America is still dealing with the bugaboo - of race.
Pat Buchannan and Geraldine Ferraro voiced similar critical remarks on Obama's perceived entitlement based on his race. Bill Clinton disparages Barack as another Jesse Jackson. Jesse Jackson wants to castrate Barack .All this happened before during before he became the nominee . What's goiing to happen during the fall season ?
In an early diary , titled Happy Labor Day Barack Obama ,I stated that Labor would not support Barack and that was backed up by an article by a noted Labor official .
What can be done to address the race issue ? There is nothing that can be done ,Barack like many others before him must overcome the barriers to succeed. The American people must put its race bias aside and vote for the best candidate. That will prove easier said than done .
