Although the wikipedia page clearly states that the neutrality of judge Samuel B. Kent's wiki page is disputed, what is not in dispute is that Samuel B. Kent is a judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in the single-judge Galveston Division covering Brazoria, Chambers, Galveston, and Matagorda Counties who was nominated by George H.W. Bush on August 3, 1990.
What is also not in dispute is this press release from the U.S. Department of Justice which reads:
U.S. District Court Judge Charged with Attempted Aggravated Sexual Abuse and Abusive Sexual Contact
WASHINGTON – U.S. District Court Judge Samuel B. Kent, 59, was indicted today by a federal grand jury in Houston for allegedly attempting aggravated sexual abuse and for abusive sexual touching of a clerk’s office employee, Acting Assistant Attorney General Matthew Friedrich announced.
The indictment, returned today in the U.S. District Court in Houston, charges Kent with one count of attempted aggravated sexual abuse on March 23, 2007, and two counts of abusive sexual contact, which is alleged to have occurred on Aug. 29, 2003, and March 23, 2007.
The case is being prosecuted by Senior Deputy Chief for Litigation Peter J. Ainsworth and Trial Attorneys John P. Pearson and AnnaLou T. Tirol, of the Criminal Division’s Public Integrity Section, which is headed by Section Chief William M. Welch II. This case is being investigated by the FBI.
An indictment is merely an allegation. Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Also, in 2001, the Chief Judge of the Southern District of Texas reassigned 85 cases away from Judge Kent, because the cases were being handled by Richard Melancon, Kent's best man at his wedding. You can learn more about pervy ol' Judge Kent here.
So, Judge Kent has the distinction of being the first federal judge to be charged with federal sex crimes. This is yet another reason "value voters", which I think is a code phrase for people who under no circumstances will ever cast their ballot for a Democrat, must stay home this November and not vote. Look what their values have done to this country. Their shame and embarassment should keep them home.
Share the indictment of judge Kent with the value voters you know, and then ask them if they want more of McSame, er, I mean more of the same.
