I write about the RNC08, DNC08, and other things on the first day of my freshman year in high school.
I have no intention of watching one awful minute of the Republican National Convention. I will tune in to Keith Olbermann's show on MSNBC but I can't stand the hypocrisy and blatant lies of that party. It is a great idea for all of us to completely boycott their circus and have it pale in comparison to the historic 28 million viewers watching in Barack Obama's Promise to America!
I start my freshman year in high school today and I intent to reach out to the young Democrats there. I'm just so sick of hearing lies come out of that party. And the political ads in Wisconsin from Senator John McCain and the Republican National Committee are just more lies against Senator Barack Obama and Democratic Leaders.
I've said this many times before. I thank Senator McCain for his service to the United States of America but he is not ready to lead America. When I watched Brian Schweitzer and Senator Obama's speeches, I'm proud to be a young Democrat. I wish more teenagers in Wisconsin would wake up and understand the real issues besides their "one week" dating relationships.
Just because school starts today does not mean that I won't be here to post or be involved in Senator Obama's campaign. I will still be very much active. When I'm not here, I'll be volunteering in my local campaign field office. I will be posting live updates on MySpace and Twitter when my schedule allows me to.
One of the reasons that I am involved in politics and government is that I have a feeling that there won't be anyone that will want to step up - fight for the truth and what is right. I don't think we will have no more people like John F. Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, Barack Obama, and or Hillary Clinton. Yes, I may be on the far side of the world but unlike some people and teenagers in this world, I would like to see a better America then what we have today.
In closing, Dennis Kucinich's speech is one of my favorties on the Democratic National Convention. In 2001, the oil companies, the war contractors and the neocon artists seized the economy and added $4 trillion of unproductive spending to the national debt. Wake Up America! Now only if teenagers across Wisconsin would wake up for once!
