If you can stand to listen to the talking heads on the right, make it easier on yourself by practicing in your head the spin you will hear tonight. We all know that no matter how she performs, no matter what she says, she will "hit it out of the park."
I fully expect that she will give a competent speech. She will "perform" just fine. She will say what she "needs" to say. But the reviews are already in.
"Home run! Moving! Exciting! Owned the building! Will play to women everywhere! Will be heard by Hillary supporters! Knocked Obama down! Game changer! Proved why McCain picked her! Proved why liberal blogs are wrong! Showed how a mother like her is right for America! Never heard anything like it! Not since Ronald Reagan has anyone been so in touch with Americans! Maybe she should be on the top of the ticket!
I know I missed some.
The "problem" will be that the glowing reviews will set the stage for McCain to deflate the balloon the next night. Of course, since he has far less executive experience than she, that is to be expected. (And they will say that too...they will intentionally set the bar lower for him so then HE can hit another HOME RUN!.........)
