My thoughts on what he should say:
Gov. Palin gave a nice speech. She got some zingers in there. Good for her. Welcome to the big leagues.
But, seriously, where's the beef? For all her jokes, Gov. Palin does not have a beef with the Obama campaign. Gov. Palin says that Washington needs change. We agree. Eight years of Bush and the corrupt GOP establishment is enough.
Who has walked the walk of change? What kind of change did Sarah Palin bring to the small town of Wasilla when she was mayor? Sarah Palin is not running for President. What kind of change will Sarah Palin bring to Washington D.C. as John McCain's right-hand woman?
Sarah Palin says she wants to bring change to Washington, but what are her ideas? I ask again: Where's the beef?
Sarah Palin has no published record on any of the major issues that concern Americans today: housing, the economy, health care, global warming, and how to end the war in Iraq. She won't submit to an in-depth questioning on these issues - she is avoiding the press. The question is whether she has any new ideas of her own, or whether she will simply offer more of the same Republican talking points.
Sarah Palin reminds me of another small-town guy from Crawford, Texas, who was quick with a zinger and had a record of failure. America took a chance on him, and look how that turned out.
etc.
