It's true I just read it!  Barack Obama will appear with Keith on September 8th. I wonder if Rachel Maddow will make an appearance on the show as well.Rachel Maddow's show will premier right after Keith that night. What a way to open big! As reported on Huffington Post!

ST. PAUL - Sept. 3, 2008 - Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama will join MSNBC's Keith Olbermann Monday, Sept. 8, on "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," 8-9 p.m. ET. It is Sen. Obama's first "Countdown" interview since March and since he became the Democratic party's nominee.

"Countdown with Keith Olbermann" telecasts weeknights, 8-9 p.m. ET on MSNBC. Izzy Povich is executive producer

Considering Keith did not go to the Republican National Convention and NBC was booed tonight.  I consider this sweeeeeet news. This story as reported by Sam Stein at Huffpo.

The folks over at MSNBC have become political scapegoats for the supporters of the candidate opposing Barack Obama. In the Democratic primary, backers of Hillary Clinton often quipped over what they deemed as unfair and often sexist coverage. In the general election the animosity between the McCain campaign and the peacock network has also spilled over into public

.

One more thought about McCain complaining about media coverage from someone I am suprised to quote Roger Simon from Politco,Why the media should apologize.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — On behalf of the media, I would like to say we are sorry.

On behalf of the elite media, I would like to say we are very sorry.

We have asked questions this week that we should never have asked.

We have asked pathetic questions like: Who is Sarah Palin? What is her record? Where does she stand on the issues? And is she is qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency?

We have asked mean questions like: How well did John McCain know her before he selected her? How well did his campaign vet her? And was she his first choice?

Bad questions. Bad media. Bad.

I didn't see this diaried yet, but wanted to let every one know! I sme

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
