i'm been a little surprised about how quiet Biden has been. Maybe he isn't being covered by the media as much--perhaps because they can't spare away any political reporters from covering the hourly scandals erupting from the republican VP candidate?
Anyways, I thought we'd help Joe Biden out by listing out really simple statements that he can use without seeming like a bullly--you do know, our republican "friends" are going to start calling him that the minute he says anything true about Mrs. Palin that doesn't put her in a positive light.
Here are the rules
- Don't be mean
- Tell the Truth
- Connect her to the last 8 years
So, join me below the fold. I'll update this diary as you come up with some good ones as well.
1)
Mrs. Palin said, during her introduction to America and her acceptance speech, that she was against the bridge to nowhere....well, here is a picture of Mrs. Palin at a rally supporting the bridge to nowhere [Mister Biden pulls out a huge poster of Mrs. Palin at that event]
After 8 years of continuous lies, we need a white house that tells the truth.
2)
Mrs. Palin is part and parcel of the oil industry. Her family has connections to BP, and she wants to drill more and more, even though it will only bring down prices of gas by 7-8 cents.
After 8 years of our country being run by Oil companies and their servants, do we need another 4 years of that?
3)
Mrs. Palin isn't talking to reportes? Over the last 3 days she hasn't granted one single interview to any newspaper -- NOT EVEN FOX NEWS!!! (wait for laughs).
I know Dick Cheney doesn't like to give interviews either, he can go for 3 months without talking to the American people.
Do we need 4 more years of a vice president hiding away from the American people?
4)
Mrs. Palin ran up the biggest debt in the history of the little town on wasilla. When she came to Wasila the town had no debt and few taxes.
When she left the little town of Wasila owed 27 million...that's five thousand dollars for every infant, child, man and woman in Wasila?
Plus, she added a tax for food.
Does that sound familiar? It's the Bush-Cheney formula for sticking it to the little guy, and sticking it to our grand children.
I know it's a short list, but I felt these are the quickest ones to explain.
